Tube type surge arrester:
It is a protective gap with high arc extinguishing capacity, consisting of two series gaps, one is called the outer gap in the atmosphere, which is used to isolate the working voltage; the other is called the inner gap or arc extinguishing gap in the trachea.
Mainly used for lightning protection on the power supply line.
Valve Type Arrester:
It is composed of spark gap and valve plate resistance, and the material of valve plate resistance is special silicon carbide.
When there is lightning high voltage, the spark gap is broken down, the resistance value of the valve resistance is reduced, the lightning current is introduced into the earth, so as to protect the cable or electrical equipment from the harm of lightning current.
zinc oxide lightning arrester:
The use of zinc oxide good nonlinear volt-ampere characteristics, in the normal working voltage through the current arrester is very small (microampere or milliampere level); when the overvoltage, the resistance drops sharply, the discharge of overvoltage energy, to achieve the effect of protection.
It has the advantages of good protection performance, light weight, small size, dirt resistance, anti-aging and so on.
